Better unknown

would you walk the coals for me
burn your feet and blister the backs
of your thighs
would you cover me with your parka
in the snow after I cut you open and
passed out delirious from blood lust

if I took your children and sold them
into hell
could I count on you to be there when
I cry my shame for my heinous acts
would you be a friend to the defense and
sympathic to my plight

if I took all that you hold dear and ransomed
your love for drink and a quick blowjob would
you still fold the bedcovers down and hold me
till I sleep

what if I burned your house down and danced
naked in the ashes or rained piss on you in the
middle of the night
maybe do the unthinkable and then do it again
again and again
would you chance the bite of the scorpion to carry
me across the river or offer me your place in heaven

and if I laid myself open and bloody, a sharpened
knife left in every wound and pleaded my love for
all that you are, would you give forgiveness or walk away
as spirit and soul evaporated from my dying carcass

maybe some things are best unknown

THat's a heavy one tonight Johnny.

Beauty comes in many forms.

Think, thinker, and find your answers.

Good job.

Hi Johhny,

First one of your poems I have read. Not sure what point you are making with the words. I'm interested in the punctuation though. One comma in the whole poem. That's it. Minimilist.

Did somebody mention (in a different thread) a post about grammer?
