Social projects

I just took a system with a planet that now is on a social project making Multimedia center. I dont have that one yet, but I suppose the race I took it from had it. Good or bad? I only have it avail on that system. If I was stealing knowledge/technology I'd expect to have it avail on all systems. Ehh or perhaps not :)
Anyway, just wanted to know if it's implemented the way you want it or a bug.

This is still happening. Sometimes when I take over a system I can get a social/military project finish next turn that I normally dont have avail. I cant see that one in the list of projects tho. Good or bad?

I've seen this as well. Too bad you can't capture technology for use civ wide when you take over someone else's planet. Of course if you're leading in research there isn't going to be anything to take but for those lagging behind it could be a nice boon.

Remember Civilization? When you captured a city you got to choose which Technology you captured. Something like that would be nice. Give the leaders something to think about in a mass expansion if battleship or Avatar technology could be captured.

Yes, if you conquer a star system and their planets are building social projects or ships that you do not have the technology to build, it will keep building them, as long as you don't select something else. This is a feature.
