Game freezes when I try tro resign

If you talk to an alien civ, give away all your planets, and then do a next turn after they accept your planets, the game will lock up. I've reproduced this behavior several times on my system. All I was doing was trying to resign by giving away all my planets. (I was pretty much doomed anyway).

My only hope would've been for the Altarians to hit Final Frontier and I somehow luck out and get it by taking a planet.

Hmm...I'll check that.

We do have a surrender treaty, but it needs testing.

If it helps, the symptoms of what is happening are the following:

1. The turn button shows the clock icon
2. The application shows as "not responding" on the task manager
3. The application is taking 100% of CPU time
4. Very occasionally the memory amount changes, but not by any great deal

Hmm...

Are you on a particular screen when you hit the turn button? Like the foreign policy screen?
