Taking control of enemy colonies

Well, this bug still hasn't gone away. While in the heat of battle (ok, in the heat of getting my ass kicked), a turn will end and suddenly I'll be on the planet screen of one of my enemies colonies. From there I can go to Details and Destroy Colony. Then I'm automatically taken to one of his other colonies. Wash, rinse, repeat through at least 5 of his colonies.

And I'm not even using destabilize or espionage. ;)

As much fun as this is, I'm sure it's not supposed to happen.

It's a known issue.

It was (iirc) posted as being resolved with 1.03.

However, if you are playing a previous saved-game, new updates to GalCiv will not take effect. (Indeed, anomalies can occur, with completion times, etc., getting mis-calculated.)

To benefit from the sequential builds, it is best to start a new game after update. Should you be in the middle of a game, simply complete it, post to the MV, then update on SDC.

Sorry, no. I realize this was a known issue that was *reportedly* fixed, but I'm here to say that it wasn't (hence the "this bug hasn't gone away" comment). This was not a saved game from pre-1.03. This was a brand new game, begun under 1.03A.057.

J,

Thanks.

Please post this to Brad's official Bug list ("Bug Report Thread") as well (if you haven't already).

No need to report it, I've already fixed the problem. It should be in the next update.
