Should I use "Stardock Central"?

Just wondering if most of you use Stardock Central, or just patch manually?

Stardock.

The software library works OK and the discussion group sucks less than using the webpage.

Personnaly I find SDC very handy and reliable.
And it allows you ti have the patches more frequently :d

I bought the game about three days after it came out (why not on the day it came out? Hey, I gotta work at some point. :) ), downloaded the bonus pack, but avoided SDC. Mainly because I kept seeing threads about it not working, crashes to desktop, screwing up their installation... usual stuff. However, I did want 1.02 as soon as possible, so after SDC was updated, I downloaded it, and have been using it ever since.

I don't even bother visiting the GalCiv website through IE anymore, I just click on my SDC shortcut for that. ;)

I'm just trying SDC for the first time right now, and it seems to work fairly well. I just have one small question: how does it interfere with the web based forums (as concerns the information that a message has been read, been read and answered ...). It seems that the forums in SDC don't remember what I read using a web browser.
