Ok so I am just throwing this idea out there because I am a Halo fanatic and I think that this game could easily incorporate the Halo universe into it. I am not a very good designer but I can provide support and more ideas. There are already two races that could easily be changed into the Humans and the Covenant( TEC and Advent). All we would have to do would be to change ships some and add  gauss guns to most TEC Cap ships. I know this might take a long time but if it means that we will finally have a Halo space combat game then it will be well worth it.

I just found out one of my friends at school used to work as a tester for bungie and used to talk and play online with one of halo's programers on a regular basis. Hes a great modder, ive seen some of his work and he knows an amazing amount of halo lore so im sure he'll be a great help. Should i get him to come and help with anything?

I guess he can. he's been working on a grunt homeworld map thing and its amazingly detailed despite the size. Hopefully he could get the attention of bungie on this project

I also have some artwork on a UNSC frigate and some longswords atempting to escape some CCS battle cruisers. Can it be added to some concept art thingy?

Not really. It kinda needs to be made by a member of the team or the public for me to accept it. Did you make it?

Hey guys! I just saw this post, and I thought it would be an interesting thing to work with. I can model pretty well, assuming it's only ships. Texturing I suck at. Modding is something I am familiar with. Any need for me?

Most of my work was lost with my last hard drive. However, a few minor little things I was toying with survived on photobucket. I'll see if I can find them.

 

I would be willing to learn how to texture.

Odds are though, I can only work on this a bit, with my schedule as it is until november.
