what is allegiance ???

Hi

What is this allegiance on planets ?? I dont really get that.

And i know the further a Planet is away from your capital planet, the lower is the allegiance. You can have more then one capital planet right ? so u could turn one planet, closer to the other ones further out, also into a capital Planet, right ? Would the allegiance go up then ?

Thank you for answers.

High allegiance increases your maximum tax income and resource income, and low allegiance can make a planet go back to neutral (with all your planetary upgrades gone). You can mess with allegiances by building culture stations.

It is wise to locate your capital in a central part of your empire so that the most planets can get bonus income - if you have many outposts in other stars, locating near the sun might help. Often the starting home position is very far out and so it can help your income to change it later on.

Carbon has it, just want to say that the planet's income is multiplied by the allegiance %. 10 credits/second income on a 90% allegiance planet will only yeild 9 credits/second. 0% means it becomes neutral, you can raise the max allegiance by 10% with the use of culture spreaders, and you can only have one capital planet at a time... It switched the current one to the one that just got the upgrade, redoing the max allegiance based on how far they are from the new capital planet, although multiple capitals is a neat idea.
