For the ones who track my new skins at deviantart.com should know about this new part of the Evolve Suite, this my new skin EvolveFX for CursorFX. >>>
Some time ago i saw alot of 3D models at deviantart and i wished to do my own one, this two models were my inspiration: http://kheng.deviantart.com/art/DBK-02-Wallpaper-35019322 http://ptacnik.deviantart.com/art/Mechanical-Scorpion-11394261 . I have to be honest., i was planning to do this new cursor for the GUI Champs. becouse i thought that this year would be a CursorFX category.., but whatever....
Here are the steps:
The modeling: As you can see, i start over the legs and from the beginning i was planning to put something like pincers, but then i change my mind..., after the legs i continue with the rest of the body....

The next step was the rendering, light and envirement(it took me two days to get what i wanted):
Finaly i end up with this:
Since the beginning i wanted to use Vray as my render to get some realistic effects and materials.., now i'm over the animations.., nothing yet but i guess that i'll finish this skin in a month or so.., give me your oppinion please
