Dreams too fast

How do I slow down a dream?

Several dreams I have downloaded from WC are far too fast (e.g. ColourfulSpaceMix, WakeupSun and others). They are over is just a few seconds. Pretty much all the others are OK so, how do I slow some of the fast ones down. Is there somewhere, someway I can change the fps as it appears to be set too high?

I can't help you, but I'd like to know your system specs....

*Pixeleo has heard of laggy dreams, but fast dreams......*

Pixeleo,

I don't think my machine's spec is particularily different from most these days but, for what its worth here it is :-

Sony PCV-RZ422 - 3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
1.5g Memory - 800MHz Frontside Bus
NVidia GeForce FX5200 graphics chip with 128 mb DDR SDRAM
Windows XP SP2

See? Nothing special at all.

I'm begining to think these 'dreams' I have refered to have been built too fast. All other dreams are working fine, at a reasonable pace. Other dreams by the author of 'wakeupsun' are ok! I think perhaps these examples I have given are exceptions. It would have helped had the authors of the obove dreams commented themselves.

i have to agree with true scot...and i know for sure that they are too fast it has nothing to do with computers

dreams should be an ambient, almost barely noticeable smooth motion in the background...when they are too fast they are too overwhelming....i think themasterbaron has it right because my brother purchased Utopia Prime and its perfect

Dreams should be whatever the artist/author likes.  Users should download what they like.  Thus, we all have choice.  :)

You are quite correct. You can't run Dreamscape on an XP machine. My mistake. I gave the wrong machine's configuration. In fact the machine I am talking about is my laptop. Here is the correct config:

Sony VAIO VGN-FW11S - 2.4gigahertz Core 2 Duo P8400 processor with ATI Mobility Radeon graphics and Windows Vista Home Premium.

OK, so its got a pair of 64bit processors but again, my original comments are the same. This machine won't make Dreams run any faster, its clear now that its a function of the Dream design.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
