Shelbygt, thanks for the information. You are right and that worked. I totally forgot that I changed the font. I wondered why changing the /ig theme didn't work. :)

I need some assistance tweaking MyColors and/or some related Object Desktop Ultimate package settings. I've noticed several issues, but the most immediate is that context menu text is illegible due to transparency, though other menu backgrounds and text appear fine. No other desktop icons, files or even the weather widget that comes with the burgundy package move.

Secondary issue:
Burgundy's clock widget moves after running some game in full-screen mode, whether or not the full-screen game resolution is equivalent to the 2d desktop resolution. In my case, the clock moves from where I'd placed it top and center of my screen, over to the top left corner. The hotspot to grab/move the clock is bugged, and clicking the clock to move it back to it's original location jumps the clock halfway across the screen - back to where it was originally placed. If the text description is too dense to understand, I'll frap a movie together to demonstrate - so let me know.

Yeah....tried that some time ago.....never heard anything back.

Been there...done that...all I got was a lousy non-response...lol! Tried getting permission for Boulder, and Rockstar...no answer, which I find to be rude, but who says Stardock Design has to have manners?  :(

I'm with WG. I don't want to install MyColors because I like WB. And I'm afeared to do it because I don't want it corrupting my WB install, like WG posted about. Oh, well. I'll stick with WB.

I use both WB and MyColors with no problems both on Vista and XP.  ;)

Excellent theme, problem loading the weather widget though. Weather widget for think green works fine, burgundy states unable to determine version of stardock weather ocx.

I am having the same problem with the weather...whats the deal? And yes, I have notified stardock support yesterday...and nothing as of yet.

I've always wanted to take the box off Rock Star Start Panel. I hope this one can be unencrypted since there's no known third party copyright images used - I think.

This one is not encrypted, I have started a DX theme from it but can't get permission to use.  (:(

Aesir Rising - this looks like XP you are using here.
Go to WB Config. screen and in the trans & blur tab change everything to the default settings right there next to where it says Vista-ize me. Then there a bit left of that is a drop down menu. Open the setting for menus and look there at the setting for the trans and set it to the skin default by clicking that link. Then reapply the skin from the top right where it says apply changes.
Also after doing this be sure to logoff and back in again so as to clear any cache settings left over in the system.
As for your problem with the clock. I would need to know more about what your graphics are set for and what you are using. But it really seems to me that it is just not running properly due to something it is confused with. Try this here right click the clock and uncheck the autorun. Then do as before and logoff and log back in again. After you log back in go to your start menu for all programs and look for stardock and my colors, glossburgandy gadgets, clock and restart the clock again. after you get it placed where you want it right click the clock again and check the autorun again so it starts.
Do you have a regs cleaner such ccleaner or something. If you do run it and then completely restart the computer. Oh and here is another little thing that a lot of people do not do at login. Do not just log right in as soon as it comes up. If you will take notice the system is still loading drivers and settings at this time and really does need a bit more time than you would expect it too. So give it a min. to load good and then login. If it looks like you are still not getting all your icons in the tray or something looks a bit slow - then do a logoff again to finish getting a clean dll loading. Really sounds like a lot of stuff is running in the background and you may also want to check that with either msconfig or another program that can list what is being loaded at startup when you login to windows.
Let me know and we will get you figured here for this.

All links being sent are still the same for the encrypted files. :(

It has been said it will take some time to get all the links placed in every account.
So be patient and wait. People are doing their best to get everything done by the weekend.
In all hopes it will be completed today.

But soon there should be no problems. We are all waiting for this to happen. It has been said and I know it takes time to do such things. Just how long I do not know. But it will happen soon...

@ neophil: Thanks for clearing up the encryption for me. Obviously hadn't looked in the folder. Don't do graphics at all so not something I typically check.

Frogboy said tomorrow, im guessing that means in -5 GMT. Also they probably wont be .MyColors but actual ZIP formats (as he stated they'd be in a zip file). EDIT: Only 2 of mine are updated, the rest are still MyColors.

NEWS:

- Good news 1 and last: Link to get all Gloss Burgundy stuff as un-encrypted files (it's a .zip download) had been added to my Stardock account

- Bad news 1: the trouble with the Gloss Burgundy weather gadget not founding the stardockweather.ocx had not been fixed :NOTSURE:

- Bad news 2: all the others MyColors free or bought themes had not neen added (speaking of Quest, Diamond, ThinkGreen and for me only Pirate & Camouflage, because all the ones i bought before the new MyColors system - a lot - won't never be avaible) to subscribers accounts  :NOTSURE:

- Bad news 3: about MyColors program itself: The wallpapers default folder seems to be X:\My Documents\My Images (though it's displaying everything's you may have in that folder including all the subfolders you may have created) without any possibility to set a specific path to be applied  :NOTSURE:

- Bad news 4,5,6: still relative to MyColors features,
. i can't find where themes are stored. Well more exactly, as MyColors is installed for me in C:\Program Files\Stardock\MyColors i expected themes will be stored as subfolders of C:\Program Files\Stardock\MyColors\Themes and it's not, i just have a silly C:\Program Files\Stardock\MyColors\Themes\donotdelete.txt file  :NOTSURE:. It seems they are in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\ThemeManager (???) but everything's a weired melting spot with (i think) only the Winstyles.ini relative to the latest MyColors theme applyed (and though with wallpapers and preview for this suite for it)  :NOTSURE:
. i can't find exactly where are localized gadgets but surely not in the default Stardock gadgets folder which is C:\Program Files\Stardock\DesktopGadgets.
. Same for the IconPackagers ...

Conclusion 1: It's confirming that MyColors is a very silly program, badly unfinished and un-efficient, melting things very confusingly with ThemeManager .suite, and as Impulse is doing, creating silly new folders all over the hard disk, and also creating troubles with the installed WB program itself (at least as soon as Impulse or Mycolors is launched, some default settings of WB are overwritten: example is the setting of displaying the WB icon in systray which is unchecked)  :NOTSURE:
Perhaps it's a good and easy program to use for new users and newbees, but a dramatic think for past Stardock Central ones  :NOTSURE:

Conclusion 2: We'll still have to wait to get links for all the MyColors themes as un-encrypted .zip versions  :NOTSURE:

Conclusion 3: Stardock's responsibles of delivering Themes for ODNT or Wincustomize subscribers through the MyColors way, would have better broke their legs the day they choose to do this way

Weather gadget will not load..... unable to determine version of stardockweather.ocx.

Clock gadget second hand doesn't move unless you mouse-over, then it may jump ahead 2-5 sec ... mouse-off, stops again.

No problems with the OSU (yes, I'm a proud Buckeye fan) or the free theme gadgets that I have .... just Burgundy.

Is a fix in the works?

I'm runnung Vista 64

Love the outcome guys, congrats on the skin.

As to the topic at hand neophil78 -

Only the new subscriber skin is all that will be released at this time unencrypted. You should submit your email at the support link here WWW Link

Then look for an additional link for My Colors Gloss Burgundy. Which is a extra download for the zip file.

Anyone having problems... please submit your problems via the same link to create a support ticket. Most problems are system related and it is not the program at all. I have had My Colors now on my machines here and do not have any problems what so ever.

If you are concerned where themes are stored. Look in your shared folder at stardock/theme manager in xp ; vista is puiblic/public documents/stardock/theme manger. All your My Colors gadgets and everything should be in that folder.

Have a good weekend everyone!

As mentionned in #62, Bad news 4,5 (  ), they are not.
I get in that folder all old .suite files, all XXXXX.MyColors, all .ico's, some .bin relative to the bought MyColors themes i think, WinStyles.ini, preview, and wallpapers of the latest .suite or .MyColors theme applyed and nothing else ...

Great theme,I like it even though I'm no fan of red.I just want to know why the widgets/gadgets,whatever ,keep getting installed into my startup folder. They load up with everything unless I remove them.Isn't there someplace else they can be installed, like the Stardock folder in my docs,or a separate My Colors widgets folder.I don't mind applying them manually.Object dock and Impulse dock are the only things I have or want in that folder. TIA

Right click on them and uncheck autorun will sort it. Shortcut to start on boot up.Not installed there.

I personally think MyColors is just great, i have never had a problem with it, running Vista Ultimate, and now i have this addiction to MyCOlors themes, at last count i have purchased 14 themes, i think what i like most about it is one click does everything, as opposed to me loading a WB, then customizing from there, COlors does it for me, this new burgundy theme is spectacular, the colors are great, now maybe i wont change my desktop so much
