Desktop Icons lost after uninstall

Right click your desktop,
Under "View", click "Show desktop icons".

hi c242... i think the menu item might be stuck as checked, just want to make sure you toggled it a couple times. i recommend rebooting, and then toggling the "show desktop icons" off, and then back on. try it a cpl times see if that helps

If fences is installed remove the icons from fences to the desktop before uninstalling!

Will try that again, thanks. For now I am thinking what I can do with Fences. It would be really cool to be able to reduce the fence just to it's title (bit like You can reduce windows in some WBs to their titlebar).
