Minor Race Pictures

Can I edit the picture thats shown for the minor races. I hoping that I can put my own picture in, the picture thats used now kind of looks like old T.V. dials LOL

I think you can- jsut follow the same format as in the GFX folder.

BoogieBac posted a tutorial on modding the race animations over in the GC Mod forum earlier today. In it, he said "if no movies are present, the game will look for PCX images of the same naming format....so if you want to make your own images but don't want to spend time animating them, remove the BINKS from the directory and replace the current PCX's with your own custom ones."

That seems like pretty good confirmation that all you need to do is replace the appropriate PCX graphic with the one you want to use instead. :)

This is correct, i have replaced the minor race pics with Moo3 race pics, makes me happy !!! just change the pcx file, and make sure the color pallete is 256 colors.

It's pretty easy to do.

Just do like Elerian says.

Google image search for "elerian" or "kirathi" or whatever you want, resize the images to match ones you are replacing, and set palette to 256.
