OK. Call me anal but all the gradient silhouettes are driving me nuts. So I decided to make a full set avatar from the Elemental resources we currently have. Please note that Luckmann has added many more avatars to the collection.You can get them below.
NOTE: most of these were created/cropped/edited by folks other than myself, so please give credit where credit is due
Additional Note: There are many more avatars scattered throughout the forum. I just posted the majority of them here. I have tried to include suggested pages to find more avatars by the various avatars if you want to look further. You can also use the "view edits" button if you're very very brave to view all previous versions of this main thread and the images where-in.

This OP is under construction. Due to some browsing issues it is being completely reformatted and built from scratch. There are other user avatars and lots of additional avatars that are supposed to be here in the OP. Jalicos (page: 15) and eplekogen (page: 5) come to mind right away. They should have avatars in this OP soon. Of course wintersong has tons of avatars scattered throughout the web. its a work in progress tracking them down and sorting into 'official art' and 'unofficial art' especially since some of the old 'official' art did not match the current style as well as others.
We are busy people though, and editing this takes more time than one might think.

I've already been browsing my ..\Elemental\Gfx\Logos folder for appropriate fodder. I'm trying to decide atm if I want to sneak in an animated PNG under the radar and make the Crest_07 one have bubbles that bubble.
edit: nvm. that phial has a cork in it. It has been hermetically sealed. Those bubbles shouldn't even be there since the pressure inside would be equally distributed. Realism is where it's at. Even in logo art, dammit. I request... no, I demand.. that the logo be updated to reflect this.
eeps spartan, I think you got some nasty script in there somehow. the images are not appearing for my browser. Did you copy paste something in a recent edit?
either that, or did you feel they all should be taken down?
I thought I had gotten around it by doing View Edits and then I saw all the images - took the ones I liked by doing save image as and when I look at them on my PC - they look fine.
When I try to upload I get some Error -200 or something and it tells me to try again. *sigh*
That's odd. I was getting the same error earlier today, but I thought it was because I was fiddling around with animated .png:s.
All the avatars in this thread should work just fine.
I'm going to see if I can change my avatar, which worked fine just the other day.
Edit: Tried to change my avatar. Didn't work. Something is definitely up. Something that wasn't up just the other day. I'm going to go bother a mod.

Same here. I just tried to remove my Sins avatar (sorry Sins, it's time to go medieval! ) and was unable to do so.
I never had an Avitar, but when I finally tried to get one, it refuses to let me do so now.
I've had the same issue. It doesn't matter which browser is used. However, I was able get it uploaded at forums.joeuser.com. Give that a shot if the Elemental forum isn't working.

Likewise, I cannot upload any Avatar in either FF or IE. Yes, I am using the latest version of Flash for both browsers.
Anybody find a fix for this yet by chance?

Are people able to find the avatars well enough? I feel like while spartan was getting gross amounts of karma simply by being the OP, it was more beneficial to the new-comers to have the OP with all the avatars. Shall we keep a rolling list of icons so that they can just 'check the last few pages' to see the avatars?
I downloaded Firefox to upload an avatar since IE 8 wasn't working, but Firefox didn't work either. However, using joeuser.com to upload did work.
Is there a link I'm missing somewhere? Neither IE 8 nor Firefox is showing a link in the original post, so I can't find the E:Wom Avatars
The original OP is at the top. You likely just don't see it because its crazy short right now. Not sure why Spartan did that. (I asked a month ago or so, but he hasn't appeared to answer me)
At the moment you kinda have to weed through the different pages to get at them. I know I posted a ton back on page 15, and going backwards or forwards a page will find you a lot more.
I'll see if I can get around to keep a rolling list towards the bottom. At least of the ones I made. (then the clever joe will search the forums not in my list for ones other people don't already have.)
Ah! Thank you I thought there was a link to the images on another web site, somewhere. But right-clicking on the avatars and saving works fine.

Lost track of the topic, and see folks having issues uploading new avatars.
When this happened to me a long time ago (a year or so) it was a browser+java issue, where I need a combination of an updated IE and older java plugin in order to upload. Firefox didn't work for me (at the time) because as my primary browser, it had the (at the time) updated java plugin. IE worked for me simply because the version of the JRE plugin it was using was out of date. So... it's not strictly a browser issue - but more a combination of java and the browser, according to my own experience. Sorry, I can't be more specific about resolution steps.
