It is my pleasure as a new senator of the MWC to congratulate all good peeople of fertile lands with incredible success that our empire achieved in the recent past.

We are not the fastest growing empire but the quickest to rise in ratings. Opportunities are excellent for new (and seasoned) players to make their mark on the face of Metaverse.

We are not asking anyone to defect from other respected empires. We are asking people of midlands (of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, all islands) to join MWC. If desire to help a real and noble cause will regretfully make you leave existing empire so be it. Be strong in your true aligence.

We defeated G.R.O.S.S, others are shaking seeing MWC make it's way up.

Celebrate if you are an MWC member. Join us and we shall go together to the glorious future of the Mid Western Confederation.

I just patched my current game ( Huge painful). Everything looked fine, the War with the Yor is going ok, they got more ships ( battleships) but i got the better ones ( dreadnought's). I needed an influx of cash so i decided to trade ( +63 in dip ) with the minors races. First i try my friends the scottlings who i do most trade with, put up Frictionless Clothing ( didnt want to give em any Weapons tech at this time) i try for 100 for 10 months. NO good, ends up they only want to give me 256 for my trade good. So i try the I league, they have Exotic Alloys tech, i want that, so i put up Frictionless Clothing again. NO trade. I put Ultra Spices aswell, still no trade. i throw in all my trade goods (Frictionless Clothing, Ultra Spices, Diplomatic Translators,Gravity Accelerators, Tri-Strontium Steel) still no trade :(. Unless this was a bug, or glitch, What use are trade goods for there price now.

Yeah, the trade goods have definitely been made less expensive. I can see why they did it; I've been using the trade goods to survive at Masochist levels before now -- you never needed to research anything, if you could just somehow pick up a few trade goods and pass them out among the various aliens to pick up huge amounts of tech.

So yeah, Trade Goods are a whole lot less powerful than they were before. (And for me at least, I'm having a whole lot more trouble getting anywhere at Masochist level now...) But I think this does make for a better balanced game.

What goes up must come down.Well the good news is we are in 6th place and Copernicus and I are in the top 25 again. The bad news is GROSS is in 4th and the Euro's are in first. So more playing less chating ;)

ok i was a bit disapointed been playing my current game for 2 weeks should have waited to patch it thats all. Theres alway a way around a new chalange, caught me off guard when i tried something i knew would work and rely on to help win a game was gone. :)

Are the The Culture really in front of us in the metaverse? i looked at there scores and i dont think they have a combined overall of 24000+.

Yeah, it looks like the empire db is still in the process of being cleaned up. (Quite possibly, the player db is still in process as well, down further in the ranks.)

i wonder if my medals will be gone when i finsh my next game aswell ( 5 game with 1000 and 10 game with 3000). I'm quite proud of em tho. ;)

Welcome plephart, I'm starting a new game tonight, my current one i'v been playing for a while is in the gutter, i can still pull off a win maby but it will be long and hard. Goning to try a large normal or chalangeing map to see how things go.

Yes welcome both Jojo TIMB and plephart. It looks like the empire scores have settle but now individual scores are all wierd. It also seems that GROSS has adopted a new Pirate Logo. It will not help them though.

sweet just scored myself a 3500 point victory. Was a great game with final victory coming with a military beating given to the Drengins. Starting to think that military victory may be the way to go for high scores.

Well, i'v finaly given up on my game. I turned off Tech win at the start wish i hadn't done that now. :(
The Torian Drengin alliance is crushing me, i'v been fighting them for years but now in so much debt i am unable to kpe my worlds under my comtrol. Also can not build any more transports i still have the better millitary :/.

Well on to the next game :)

Awww Soulwould. I'll say Hi to ya.

Save that game you're losing. Then when you only have 15 minutes or so to play at a time, load it up. You may be able to salvage something out of it. Then during your normal play, work on another game.

The MWC overtakes the Paleface Council ....er I mean the white sheep...er..council. Sorry for my absence all my computer was down for a couple of days. Now back to battle. If only I could beat those pesky Dregin I could finish my current game. Arhgg, maybe my next game will not be masachistic.
