Estimation of completion time for upgrading projects

Overestimation a bug?

This happens in the F6 (Civilization Manager) screen. Whenever the "Colonies" screen is estimating completion time for upgrading projects, it is highly inaccurate. I've had to constantly go to the actual planet screen to get the proper estimate. Is this a bug, this late in development (v1.97)?

Also, just when is Impulse and patch support for Ultimate Edition coming? Is it coming at all, since it was promised some time early Dec 2008?

No one has seen this bug at all? In v1.97.

It's a bug, but it's hardly new. Been around since day 1, it's pretty unlikely to get changed now.

Wow. This hardly seems like a difficult bug to fix. What's going on? Isn't Stardock taking in bug reports officially somewhere?

I bought this game because of the supposed great support. The team on Sins of a Solar Empire deals with issues relentlessly; the latest version is so much better. As for bugs, I've never seen a game without one, until I came across Sins. I don't know what's up with that team, but I'm buying whatever they make next.

I hate getting stuck with games that are superb in concept, but never got past the show-stopping bugs. We're talking many: fallout series, rpgs, oblivion, etc. No wait, there are a few games without blatant bugs: rome total war, company of heroes, etc. Maybe it has to do with superb production value.

And then there's this simple bug with calculation of estimated project completion time. This does put GalCiv in a whole different category altogether! What's wrong? I mean... this isn't even some complex real-time concurrency issues, like for real-time games.
