My monitor on one of my Macintosh computers isn't working.

Can anyone help?

Here's the problem Every time I turn the computer on, an orange light on it just blinks (and please, it's very hard to explain). I wasn't able to figure it out, but is there anyone who can? If so, please tell. --Carl
