problem with DesktopCollage dream

hi, when I turn on my pc from hibernate state the screen is black and I owe reload the dream every time >:(   this happens only with this dream. I have Vista Premium 32 bit on Acer Aspire. Is it a problem of my video card (NVidia GeForce 8400MG) or bug of the dream? Does someone have some suggestions?

Does someone have some suggestions?
End of quote

You could always turn off hibernation. ;)

Sorry...I just couldn't resist.

Wish I could help but I can't duplicate this since I don't run hibernation on my machines.

I use this dream too, and I find that any of the Dynamic Dreams (Dreams that you can manipulate in some sort or manner), can be finiki when they restart after they've been paused in some state or other for what ever reason.

If I have a dynamic dream (Photo Collage, Liquid Dream, Winter Snow... these dreams are dynamic, some kind of interaction between you and the dream) running for instance I start a game (Joint Operations, Unreal Tourniment or any other games) that uses Direct X that sometimes the Dream needs a little coaxing to restart.

So I'm betting this has something to do more with Direct X Issue then it has anything to do with the Dreams and Direct X's ability to drop the connection to the dream and then reconnect the dream afterwards.

Thanks for the suggestions, it's probable that is a problem with DX, however it happens only with DesktopCollage, with every other dynamic dream (water for instance) doesn't happen. for this fact, I think that could be also a bug linked to this specific dynamic dream :|

Also I have thought about turn off hibernation, but the pc reboot very more quickly when this option is turn on |-)

My first suggestions would be:

If you still have an issue, please open a support ticket at [email protected].

Hi Island Dog, I have the latest drivers for my video card.

Besides I think that the dreams downloaded are up to date because I have downloaded them few days ago.

I will open a support ticket, thanks :)

I'm up to date as well... my dreams are too.  It's either Vista or Direct X... because my computer seems to think it's a Direct X problem, I tend to agree with it.
