It's been a few weeks now since I last wrote here and I thought it was time I tell you all about the team I work for. Chicago Steel are part of USHL, which is made up of 12 teams spread over the midwest.
For the sake of privacy I won't mention last names or specific injuries.
Coach Will: It's taken me a while to figure him out. He is an outstanding person who has a passion for hockey that I have never seen before. The more I have been around him I get the feeling that he is using the Steel as a stepping stone to a University level coaching position. The players: They are an interesting bunch, serious during games and practice and yet I want to knock their heads together afterwards. They can be a very fun group to be around sometimes and yet other times I find my self thinking what the hell have I gotten myself into.
