Former Senator J4 of 'The' Empire relinquishes his empires flag to the G.R.O.S.S. Empire's leader Senator PontiusBruinPilot (referred to as Pontius from this point on). This move has been talked about for some time and was no surprise to both parties. For some time now Senator Pontius had been soliciting J4 to make to move into the G.R.O.S.S. Empire. This solicitation included bribes of ‘Torian blood juice’, ‘Drengin furs’, and ‘Yor Slave Bots’ worth an estimated 450 billion credits. What came as a surprise was the former Senator’s move to not join G.R.O.S.S., but to join the newly formed ‘The White Council’ Empire.

“We have the flag. That is all that matters to the Empire now. Where Senator J4 decides to move isn’t our concern, nor is it our Emperor’s. Our galactic dominance is soon to be a reality,” said svalin, Senator and ‘Professor of Slavery and Military Affairs’ of G.R.O.S.S. Empire

Former Senator J4 could not be reached for comment.

*Mystery Empire ‘The White Council’ formed:

'The White Council' headed by Senator RayChua is still shrouded by a mysterious veil. Their true intentions are not known, but rumor has it that they are here to observe and not to dominate.

Emperor RayChua nor his council members could be reached for comment.

Now hang on a minute. The ANZACs have sole reporting rights on Empire issues OR SO I THOUGHT. And it appears (*said whilst stamping little feet*) that some of the above facts have been changed or re-arranged for dramatic effect. The ANZACs want a FULL RETRACTION on the point that Sergey Pakhomov is a black sheep. We know a sheep when we see one, and he aint one, black OR white.

Hey Chris,
I'm not sure what you mean. All I reported was ranking, without dramatic effect. It is a fact. For all I know he may create his own empire or stay independent. I will try to do a news network thing every week, if I have time. If you move up...well, you move up, and it gets reported.
What facts have I changed? I'm not sure. As far as Mr. Pakhomov is concerned, I've never seen his name before he took second place, so I consider Sergey Pakhomov a black sheep. Was he with ANZAC before or another Empire? If not, then Sergey Pakhomov is indeed considered a 'black sheep' as far as empires go. He is not being solicited in anyway shape or form in the email. And I made sure all facts were reported, except for the Jerry Sprigger part...and of course dramatically. If it wasn't for drama there would be no news. Best of luck to the ANZACS, it's a close call between you guys and G.R.O.S.S.

On the above point Mr. Pakhomov, was indeed with a empire in the past, which no longer makes him a Black Sheep, but Independent, the question still remains though, will he join an empire or will he form his own?

One note on G.R.O.S.S. We moved from 9th at the start of the day to 3rd. Seems we fell into the Dev gravity well of score doom first, but our engines then held their own while others plummeted into the abyss.

Well, it actually took 2 days. But, don't forget that GROSS not only has a good engineer (yours truly, who also doubles as morale officer, but whose primary job is gunner), but we are the most talented group of misfits on the Metaverse! Those Apolyton geeks may be computer nerds extraordinaire, and the Euros are close knit and cooperative (usually...), but GROSS can put the troops on the field and the numbers on the board.

Oh, back on topic: It looks like MWC is making a move up to 5th place. I never doubted for a second that they weren't worthy competition, but can they enter the raging battle for 3rd and 4th? And those Canadians have busted back into the top 10. Better watch those guys. They can be sneaky. Now all we need is a galactic map that works. Um, maybe not. Someone might hold it upside down and get us all lost...

I TOLD you an ANZAC can sniff out a sheep anywhere, anytime, and we KNEW Sergey Pakhomov wasn't one. And keep your eyes on the Battle of the South Seas coz its going to get ugly.
