Will using Pierre-Luc Hebert's excellent add-ons disable Metaverse reporting?

And is there any point to reporting your losses?

Well, that depends. If score and rank are of importance, no. OTOH, I wonder if some of the reactionary nerfing isn't due to the fact that only victories get reported. All the times and ways the AI is kicking people's butts aren't seen by the devs.

It shouldn't automatically disable it. But when you are playing with mods, you shouldn't submit the game if the mod looks like it will throw the game balance out of whack.

It's kind of a grey area, but Brad (Frogboy) himself has said that they are fairly lenient about it. Although they have stated that if they catch you really cheating, you will be banned from the metaverse.

I haven't had a look at Hebert's mods yet, so I can't comment on them specifically. But just use common sense when judgeing if the mod is balanced or not. A few bonuses here and there won't hurt, but an empire wide 100% PQ bonus would probably get you in trouble. ;)

As far as i know..if you use any events from the library, you can submit scores to the metaverse fine
with them.

I've recently installed the enhanced terraforming, xeno religion, and smuggling but haven't used or seen any in the games yet as my games have been military wins with dreads. They must be way late game stuff. Was surprised to not see the drengins with smuggling. Anyone know when that pops up? Is that the counterpart to good's hyperwarp?

Are Pierre's mods pretty balanced?
