What Needs Fixed v1.1

1) Multiplayer in general - Finding and connecting games via the ingame system is horrid.  We have been using GameRanger to get solid quality games going since release almost.

2) Parth + AI - You CANNOT HAVE AI PLAYERS IN PARTH MATCHES.  AI players are stupid and feed gold/xp.  That is just about all they are good for.  Either the AI needs to be vastly improved somehow.  OR they need to "cheat" and by cheat I mean.  If you kill them they vanish and wait for respawn but provide no gold or xp.  Basically they are a super buff creep assisting you.

The fix?  Adopt WC3 Ladder play rules.  WC3 is perfect and has been doing great.  Just friggin copy their ladder rules.  Game must last several minutes before it counts as a win.  If you LEAVE the game you get a loss (if networking issues and random disconnects continue to be a huge problem then ladder matches are a joke anyway).  Have several game modes to choose from.  Those being:

a) Parthanon Standard - You are randomly put into a match with random players and arranged on teams based on rank (Highest 2 ranked each are split... next highest 2 are split... next highest 2 are split... basically even teams). 

b) Parthanon Arranged Team - You can play with friends!  However this cannot be the same ladder as people who randomly join vs other random players.  Its not fair to have an arranged team of 2-5 players on voice chat with a perfected strat and selected heros to fight against any random group of "noobs"

3) Camera - It is completely stupid that when you die the game spins the camera around and places you facing some random directions.  Do not change the view angle for the player.  Let them do it and leave it alone!

4) Effect immunities - Stuns - If you stack a team with stuns you can perma-stun players to death with little trouble.  I don't believe there are any items you can get to counter this.  Dota uses an item that gives temp immunity to all effects (almost all).  And also has an item which blocks spells cast on you every several seconds.  No matter how its fixed something needs done.  A team with 2+ vamps can warp in and chain stun someone for 6+ seconds and do massive damage... there is no way to counter this unless you have oak. 

5) Better tool tips - There are several abilities in the game which have magical bonuses that aren't listed on the tooltips.  I can start a list below eventually.  However every "effect" on an ability and everything it does should be listed for the player.

demigod also has an item which makes you invulnerable for a couple of seconds! its not as good as in dota, because it will also freeze you so you cant do anything while being invulnerable...

but on the other hand there are also a couple of demigod skills that can prevent things like this like stun, shields, silence, more stun :)

nope, when you are stuned, you gain an immunity for the length of the stun, so chain stun/stun lock is no longer possible.

i agree for the camera angle, i hope it will be changed soon, the death screen effect also needs improvements, but i wouldn't say it is stupid, it is rather nice, it is just that the camera should go to its initial position after your death.

multiplayer experience should improve a lot this week, the game is only a week old and i trust stardock/gpg in improving the game.

I'm confused. Are you saying this item is overpowered? Unless you have allies nearby to save you, all it really does is delay the inevitable.

3) YES. I keep trying to CTRL+LEFT KEY to rotate the damn camera. Lock IT DOWN COMPLETELY, or allow free angles. I'd prefer free angles. When playing the Oak, and the Rook is standing between your hero and the camera, you really wanna turn the cam.

Also, the interface needs a general overhaul. I also keep trying to press ALT to get ALL health bars up. Like old-style dota. NOW DON'T IMPLEMENT THAT. Do with the new WC3 style to allow "always on".

When shopping, the "Close" X is too small. When in a hurry,  the button needs to be BIG. Make clicking the portrait close open windows.

Also, self targeting should work in the portrait. (Again, the Rook is hiding my camera view when I need to protect myself.)

The minimap doesn't show "Where is the cam". This now needs to be derived from information such as "Where is the blue hero on the minimap, and where am I in the field?" Put a white box there.

Where is "auto attack nearby creatures" mode? (WC3-style)?

Changing the health bar display via the tilde key needs to be saved. Right now I have to tap tilde 4 times every match to get the display I want.

Just FYI, it's not Parthanon but Pantheon.
You probably mixed it up with the Parthenon, which is a greek monument.

Team effort yes, but a premade team should not be able to play against a pick-up team in a ranked game because that's what we call stacking. Either premades play with premades, or there are no premades. Anything else will skew the ladder.

As for my personal wish list item:

- Make the tooltip in the bottom right semi-transparent, and allow it to be attached to the mouse pointer. I prefer to look at the exact hp rather a health bar to know when I can cast my finisher and not leave the guy with 10 hp and out of range, and having to glance back and forth between the center of screen and the corner constantly gets annoying.

Health Bars: I can't get this working, but I'll investigare further

Selecting: Hmmm, maybe, but I'd still really like to be able to target the portrait. In a pinch, the portrait is Always there. Even if the DG is not even on the screen. It can save enough milliseconds for me to like it :)
