not a balancing issue

Yo,

Just something I've noticed that is incredibly annoying yet relatively easy to fix.  There is a problem with the auto attack.  Basically if I'm attacking another demigod, they run through a pack of reins and I use a skill, instead of continuing to follow and attack them, I stop and fight the closest rein.  In general using skills deactivates the auto attack and causes you to start attacking the closest enemy.  This is something that is more annoying than anything else, it rarely causes me a death, but it has robbed me of a few kills and pisses me off quite a bit.  I just can't imagine it is a very hard problem to fix and would improve the game greatly.

You stop because it cancels the attack to cast the spell. Then by default it auto attacks the closest person.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. In fact, if I'm near a group of mobs, and I right-click a demigod in their midsts, then I happily begin to attack the demigod. But if he runs out of range of my standard attack, my character begins to attack the guys close to him.

This is especially easy to see if you're the unclean beast. If I want to chase another demigod through a puddle of enemy minions, I have to excessively right-click the enemy demigod to make the 5000rpm meatgrinding beast dig his guts out.

I too have noticed this but even more infuriating, sometimes I'll click a number to prep one of my skills and then click a demigod and it wont cast for some reason -- even when I've got all the mana in the world.  It might be bugging because they're out of my immediate range?  If that's the case, it should always attempt to move me within range, which usually it does.

It's very strange but it's been noted by me as well as a few other players before -- specifically with sedna's heal but not limited to that at all.

There's definitely some targeting bugs still lingering in the game that are absolutely infuriating.  They've lost me kills or gotten me/my teammates killed before.

TravCarp: That is exactly my point, that is a negative control scheme.  Why not have it continue to attack the person one is attack unless told otherwise.  Just think about it this way, aren't there many more situations where you would want to continue attacking an enemy demigo you've hit with a skill than situations in which you'd want to skill then go back to creeping?

Ultroman: I also play UB and I've experienced this problem with him the most, but a buddy of mine has a similar problem with Sedna.

ZephyrTR: I agree completely.  My friend who plays Sedna complains about Heal targeting glitches all the time.  I also have some major problems with UB when I try fould grasp and he just decides not to do it.  Completely infuriating.

Yes, I have had issues with foul grasp as well!  Also Sedna's pounce sometimes doesnt go, and more troubling it and other abilities like it cancel attack, so then the AI defense-attacks the nearest target.  Incredibly infuriating when your killing blow is off by ~100, you're still in range, and one more hit woulda done the trick -- but a priest or archer is closer to you so you attack that instead.

faster micro solves the targetting issue , the "not using the skill issue" needs to be fixed soon

I had an issue last night with Sedna where I wasn't able to heal for the first five minutes of the match. I literaly had to move across the map and come back before the ability would work. It was quite annoying.
