Any plans on making the govenors more useful?

This was discussed a while ago and I'm not sure if anyone at Stardock has said they are looking into it but I'll ask anyway. I'm planning on picking this game up again (other games have been calling me lately...got on an RPG kick).

Are there any plans on making the gov's more useful? I don't mean give them an AI, I mean I'd like to actually queue up building priority before I have researched them instead of tweaking the list everytime I research something new.

Nothing along those lines, but we will be adding an "Obsolete Ships" list to the gov's screen to filer out unused ships. This will help cut down the clutter on the planet screen later in the game.  There were suggestions to allow players to save their governor lists.  I don't think it's the highest priority on the list, but if more people asked for it I'm guessing that could help with the "building priority list tweaking" annoyances that heppen when new Improvements are discovered.

I would LOVE to be able to save my governor lists. That way, then I COULD truely seperate the govs out into specific functions. IE one gov for starting out planets, one for production/morale, one for defense, and one for planet quality.

Yeah, I'd like that too. It's been on my list, but it would have been pretty useless before we fixed the bugs on the governor screen. :)
