Adding Healing Stats

Including per-player healing stats at the end of a game.

The end-of-game stats are really useful for seeing how well you performed as well for comparing the team's playstyles.  That said, I feel like I'm missing out on a bunch of info when we can't see how much healing each player did.

A lot of times I play as sedna and have really low damage and only a moderate number of kills, but I sure did save a lot of teamates from dying (which is almost as good as a kill).  I think, on the whole, the disadvantage of increased statistics clutter would be outweighed by the usefulness of being able to see the healing amounts per player.

Thoughts?  (fogive me if this has been brought up already)

Uhh, no. Only even applicable to 1 Demigod, and besides that unimportant at best. We're still waiting for vastly more important updates.

i think it's a great idea i self played sedna  and i skilled most on healing to support my teammates but it's sadly that you don'T get exp for it. So  i would like if you get exp for healing teammates and maybe if a teammate who you healed a minut before makes a kill that you get money for it 'cause you "assited" the kill...

MAybe  they could also make a reward or a price. I mean at the end of the game there are titles for who got the most kills and stuff like that and it could be funny if there was an medic price aswell ;-)

True, it would mainly effect 1 demigod.  But what about Oak's "Divine Justice" ability for instance?  Wouldn't it be useful to know how much this ability actually healed friendly demigods?

I also don't think it would be a major change.  In fact, it wouldn't suprise me if the game already kept track of healing information.

That's...two demigods. Also, healing is not an assist for a kill because it's already a mechanic that can be used to prevent a kill. Adding in assist power to healing is simply overkill in making an already powerful hero even more effective.

End of pseudomelon's quote

It'd apply to Oak, Erebus, Rook, QoT as well because they all have abilities that restore health, albeit only Oak can restore health to allies. Even without the abilities there's still the Universal Gadget, a couple of favor items, and potions. It's not like this award has to provide many favor points. Ten favor points would be plenty for a player to be recognized for their efforts.

Even better if it counts shielding as well (orb of defiance would be added too).

I think a healing favor award would be nice. Everyone but TB and Regulus can heal with skills. And they can heal with consumables. I would love to see a "Savior" award that will be counted by the pts of shield and hp restored to other players. Oak's shield can even count. There's this little item call the Universal Gadget which heals any single ally for 2k HP.

Then wouldn't we also have to count priests? Perhaps even passive regen. I dunno, just not terribly important for statistics, imo.

I would settle for even a "reward" at the end, "Healing", as my other awards are rarely won, well, because I use most my time/gold to assure healing for the team.

The points you recieve in the end of the game will never be fair. Not with healing or without healing points.

Healing alot in a game does not mean that you have saved any life.

Erebus only heal himself so then you have to add some kind of tank points.

All noobs would win the tank point score because they take so much damage.

Intresting to consider this but I am against it. I would much prefer if they put their focus on something else.

Demigods (save for TB and Rag) have healing capabilities for themselves. In fact if you consider QoT Shield as a heal and the high level Oak Shield (Does direct heal). Oak also has Divine Justice to heal all who are around him.

Adding the healing as a stats is very useful to see how well people around you play their characters. Adding a few favor points to top healer wouldn't be that big of a deal any way. I think QoT massive absorbs and Oak AOE heal even UB and Erebus drains would make this a nice challenge for Sedna with one Direct heal and no HoTs.

But even if healing gave points you would not see how well other people play. Use your eyes instead and look how well they play.
