QoT so much more inferior to Sedona not even funny

I was trying  QoT a little bit to see how it compares to Sedona, its so bad, its not even funny.

Dark side need an equivilant, QoT doesn't cut it.

...different DG's are different.

Queen is infinitely better than Sedna at AoE. Sedna is infinitely better than Queen at interrupting. Both have a useful defensive skill. not sure why the comparison is warranted, the two DG's are very different.

Try this. Sedna is better as a support Demigod in 2vs2 though.

Queen needs well-played allies or she struggles, similar to Sedna.  They have different synergies and tactics tho.  If you play her as you would Sedna, then I can understand the frustration.  Experiment with her using new methods.  Why would you want Queen to be able to just replace Sedna anyway?  That would make the game less interesting.

Queen is fine. Her shamblers and related skills are garbage.

Where does the queen fit in?  I was thinking she was a support DG, but not really.  Her offensive skills are not good.  The amount of skill points for the shambler, they are still not that good either.  Not surprisingly she is the least played DG.

Queen is a lot like a General form of Torchy, in that there are three really good build types, pure closed, pure open, and mixed. Pure closed is a tank on par with sedna, apply a shield, use idols and shamblers, micromanage mulch when possible and you are impossible to kill (you get the only long lasting damage shielding power AND the ability to use minions as walking health potions). Pure open is a lot harder to play, one of the main things I see people doing wrong is trying to play queen pure open as an attack demigod. Pure open is an everything but demigod killer, ground spikes wipes out entire waves of minions. Mix in a little compost and uproot and towers fall quickly (around lvl 10 or so open queen can kill a tower in 3 (tops) applications of uproot without ever getting in range). Mixed is a good way to kill demis, shield yourself, ground spike to debuff their armor (nothing more annoying than seeing -13% armor on your sidebar :P) then just go to work on them, mix in a few shamblers if you want, or just depend on idols if you want less micro.

Queen is somewhat micro-dependent (the only reason I don't play her online, my comp has a slight lag which is deadly with anyone micro dependent) as her survivability is limited but don't underestimate her. Ground spikes is the only ability I know of that can debuff armor, and the only thing besides penetance that can cause you to do extra damage to an enemy.

End of weizero's quote
She is support, and Ground Spikes is pretty powerful.  Where Sedna is a single target support/demi-killer, Queen is an area damage powerhouse and a tower killer.  They cover barely any similar ground besides Bramble Shield and Heal, but even those are not really used in the same way.

Queen works well with ranged attack DGs like Reg and TB, Sedna works much better with Beast and Oak. If you're a good Sedna player it's probably because you've developed the awareness to know when you can join your melee allies in the think of things, QoT needs to be played with a different tactical nous because her damage doesnt come from melee AA or pounce, it comes from ranged skills/AA. Your team can effectively use harassment in order to wear your opponents down if you have a QoT, whereas Sedna is largely wasted if you don't take your opponents on directly.

I tend to like QoT more than Sedna, well at least when I'm playing with them. QoT can be an awesome auto-attack support DG as her ground spikes will end up debuffing 1500 armor from everything that gets hit with them, effectively doubling damage that all regular attacks deal. This works wonders with a creep wave hitting anything. QoT is also probably the longest overall ranged DG. Ground spikes will usually hit a few yards outside of its attack ring and Spike wave will always hit at least 5 yards outside of the attack ring and gains an additional 5 yards every skill level, ending up with an effective 35 or so range. Not to mention it will end up slowing 25% which is a huge amount.

As a pure general she is also rather powerful as her shamblers are ranged and have AoE attacks.

Shield is a wonderful anti snipe/hp buff but it very tricky to deal with since you don't get to see how many points it has left or how much longer it'll last.

Sedna I find normally just doesn't die if played well. But lacks the firepower that QoT brings with her. Sure Pounce does a huge 1k damage all at once, but is shrot ranged and can be predictable.

Overall if you don't want to die and want to try to keep your buddies alive, Sedna is the best choice. While QoT is normally better with fighting swarms of enemies, whether that be DGs or creeps or both.
