Dance

I don't know if I've ever mentioned it on here before, but I really love to dance.  Any chance I get to do, I always take it.  When I'm at home by myself, or even with my husband there, always seems to be the time that I do it most often lol.  I try to take as many work out classes as possible that have the words "dance","hip hop", or "groove" in the titles.  I was trained as a professinal dancer from the ages of 3 to 16.  I learned everything from ballet to hip hop.  I loved every minute of it too.  However, once I started to get into soccer as my main activity and I had to drop dance to be able to do it.  I wish I would have been able to do both.

Since I graduated high school I've been searching for ways to get dance back into my life.  Aside from the workout classes, I don't know what else to do.  I could take a professional dance class, but I'm afraid I wont be able to find one that fits my age group.  I'm not old or anything, but I'm not in high school either.  Also, the area where I live doesn't really have any dance studios.  The closets dance studio to me is about 30 minutes away.  It's probably worth the drive though.

So to compesate for the dancing lessons I miss out on, I try to watch a lot of music videos.  My favorite one right now is called Teach Me How to Jerk by Audio Push.  Its a great song and they do a really awesome dance to it.  My favorite part of the dance is called the Reject.  It's like a backwards running man.  Tonight I'm going to a cardio dance class with some friends, so that should be really fun.  We got the instructer to come in an extra day just so we could do the dance more often.  You've probably heard of it, it's called Zumba.  That's all for now, I'm off to watch the Bengals game.  Peace.
