Babies and Weddings Are The Best

I have been really busy this past week, and I'm totally exhausted from it all.  However, the business was cause by really good events. We had two weddings that my husband and I are both a part of this week. Of course, with weddings its not just a wedding that you have to go to, its the showers, the rehearsal dinner, getting fitted for your dress/tux, picking up said dress/tux, etc. One of the weddings was Thursday during the day, which was for my husband’s parents and then the other one was last night for two of my husband and I’s best friends. Not only that, but a couple who are two of our best friends had their first baby boy on Thursday night, and another one of my best friends had her baby Thursday during the day. Whew! I love all of the excitement! My husband and I feel really lucky and blessed to be able to be involved in it all. Right now I’m at my parent's house with my husband, brother, sister-in-law, niece, and mom resting from the craziness of this past week and listening to some music from one of my favorite artists David Barnes. The happy couple at the wedding last night danced to this song last night by him.  It's definitely one of my favorites.

My husband and I have loved getting gifts for our family and friends to celebrate these big events in their lives.  For our friends that had their babies we got a pack of the best cigars and these. Since both of the babies are their first sons we figured that we should get them something to really be able to celebrate and commemorate the birth of their children. The boys' names are Jackson and Thomas, which I think are really awesome boys names. I can’t wait to go to the hospital and meet them and take lots of pictures. We went to my husband’s parents wedding onThursday during the day, and then celebrated with them in the evening.  It was a great day.  They actually got a divorce a couple years ago, but are getting re-married so its a joyous occasion for them to be getting back together. My husband and I are definitely really happy for them. We got them some luggage that they've been wanting for a big trip that they are planning on going on.

Last night my husband and I had the time of our lives at our friend's wedding in Kentucky. We were so excited for this wedding because they have been friends of ours for a long time. Actually, I've been friends with the bride for 15 years!  They are a great couple and are really in loved.  God has worked in amazing ways in their lives to bring them together. It was a crazy day yesterday running around getting stuff like my toppik hair products to use for the wedding day because I had to do my own hair and make-up for the wedding. The reception was really fun as well.  I'm going to get back to resting.  Much Love and Peace.
