This is not even affecting the US. The whole world is in chaos right now. This is the worst event since WW2... There are tens of thousands of victims, the world economy is at a halt.
I am, like every citizens on this planet, totally in shock.

That first sentence should read "This is not even only affecting the US."

The first question will be who did it. The second question will be what to do in response to them. The economic results could be reather severe. The United States has just lost 1 business day already with another one likely. We're basically shut down here at Stardock today. Everyone is crowding into the main lab watching the TV. Others have gone home already.

I am a european world citizen,
I am really in pain for this tragedy, and would like to say everybody i don't approve any terrorist action, but:

American people, please don't be stupid enough to get thinking that you should answer violence and nonsenseness with the same stupid and non-human violence. This would only lead to cahos, and for those who belive in GOD, Devil's victory.

I pray that our leaders make good decisions that do not lead to war or other hostil events!

Yes, I want to see the people responsible to be, well, lets just say held accountable, but I also hope that it can be done in a fashion that does not put innocent people at risk!

I totally agree with you Ame235 and my prayers go out to all the innocent victims. May the world one day live in peace!

I'm far away in Germany, but I am deeply shocked about what is happening right now...

Not only is this a tradgedy for all directly involved, this event has brought the entire world to a near standstill. No matter where you are in the world, this could easily affect us all - the retaliatory action taken by the US could easily cause massively scaled destruction - I just pray that the parties involved do not have access to intercontinentally capable missiles and either nuclear or biological warheads as this could really result in the end of the world. This may sound reactionary, but you really should appreciate the gravity and the possible scale of what is happening right now.

I do think all this should be a very good lesson on how to be human for our childrens.
I hope we'll understand what we should understand, unlike what people understood after Hitler and other great armageddons of the world's History.
Once again, we will have to use our brains, and prove we are willing of living in a "good" and fair world.

I'm in a state of shock. Anyone out there that is personally affected by this, you have my best wishes.

I just hope that the gutless scum who perpetrated this atrocity burn in hell, if there is one.

now u know how it feels when someone attacks and kills innocent people in broad daylight...

As opposed to what, FR?

I can't imagine what kind of person it takes to kill so many innocent people in such a cowardly fashion. There is no reason what so ever to think that killing this many people will suddenly change any U.S. policy that they resent. Alls this will do is continue a cycle of violence and death. Alls you have to do is look at Israel. There you have two terrorist groups (the Israeli's and the Palestinians) locked in a tit-or-tat conflict. Neither side is going to budge, and innocent people are being killed in the crossfire. It's just sad that no one realizes that this will change nothing.

Fr, not even pupils in young schools do such comments.
"OUH-ouh-OUH, i'm better than you-ou!"
That is the way of thinking that leads people into a vicious-circle,
and that will lead US to answer whith force and violence.
Maby should i remindy you that they have a massive number of atomic bombs.
I'm happy to be alive, i love to live, i can understand some people whant to affirm teir oppinion, but please,
let me alive.
