Celebrating Christmas with Best Friends
So often Christmas just flies by, doesn't it? It's like out of nowhere its happens and it leaves you wondering where it went. Because of this, a lot my Christmas memories just blend together and I can't remember what I did from one year to the next. But that's not going to happen this year. Not even close! Next weekend my friends and I are going to be celebrating Christmas together together! We are all really excited about it because its a great opportunity for us to wear our Alexandra perfume, our cocktail dresses, and our super high heels. We really wanted to do this for each other this year because we all had a year worth celebrating. I have a feeling that we are always going to remember this night. Each of us has done lots of planning for many months for this night.
We will begin the night with a really nice home cooked dinner. All of our husbands have graciously agreed to decorate our friends house with lots of candles, lots of flowers, and put on some Christmas music to play during the dinner. They are also going to be our waitors! How awesome is that?! All of us is going to cook something for the dinner, which is great because my friends are the best cooks around. I’m going to make some salad with agave dressing because I'm am not as good of a cook as my friends are lol. After the dinner we're going to go downtown to see and enjoy all of the Christmas festivities. We are all going to take a carriage ride together and go ice scating. Also, our photographer friend and is bringing her professional camera to take some pictures of us while we run around town. Her pictures are always beautiful. Then we are going to go see William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew! How amazing is that?!
Seeing a Shakespeare play is the best form of entertainment any of us can imagine, so we really can't wait to go see this play. The company that is performing is really well known for their memorable and unique performances of Shakespeare plays. I was lucky enough to see a performance of Hamlet by this same company and it was unforgettable. Even my husband love it, and he doesn't like Shakespeare lol. I really want to surprise my girlfriends that night a little gift, but I’m not quite sure what yet. I want to get them something that they can either use that night or that will commemorate the night...or both. I really think it would be really nice to get them some jewelry to wear that night. I’m off to enjoy a late night snack and watch the latest episode of Conan O’Brien on Hulu with my awesome husband. Good night
Peace.
