Is it possible to apply skin but not to the taskbar? [win7]

Is it possible to apply a Vista Skin to Windows7 but have the skin ignore the taskbar and just skin the windows ETC. I can't see an option in WB7 for it.

In the settings menu in the WB config, there is an option to use a different taskbar with your current skin.

It doesn't seem to work that well, though. It applies the startpanel as well from the other skin, while keeping your text color settings from the original skin. This causes some really undesirable effects.
