Demigod BSOD...but only in full screen mode

Every so often, I'll get a BSOD talking about Page Fault in Non Paged Area and mentioning file nv4_disp.dll

But the odd thing is, it only happens in Full Screen mode.

I just got done playing a session with some friends and on the second game in full screen mode, I got the BSOD, but every game in Windowed mode was just fine, and maybe even played better. I also didn't lose the "ding" sound effect when moving the mouse over the menu buttons. That ALWAYS happens in Full Screen mode.

Any ideas on why the trouble is only in full screen mode and anything I can do about it? Windowed mode has advantages, but I would like to resolve the problem.

nv4_disp.dll is part of your video card drivers. Make sure they're up-to-date, for starters. What are your full system specs?

GeForce GTS 250 GPU 1 GB RAM with latest nVidia drivers

2 GB RAM (DG never uses more than about 780M according to task manager)

78 GB HD space available

Windows XP

Latest Dx version for XP

1280x1024 resolution in 32-bit color, 72 Hz refresh rate

I uninstalled the video drivers, rebooted, then installed the drivers again, same issue.
