OD is not made by Stardock it's a side project and frogboy could give a flying leap if it ever gets done? Someone working at Stardock shouldn't tell their users to piss off.

After all you all sent the email out with a date of when it would start. Since Impulse is more important just kill off OD+ stop telling people it is coming if the guy isn't allow to work on it expect for his off time.

The 'someone' is Stardock's CEO.  He is the one who DOES have the position/authority to suggest someone 'piss off'.

The Real World is not all beer and skittles.  Once you've lived in it a while you get to know that....;)

OD 2 IS coming, of that there is no doubt....;)

I don't give a crap if he Jesus it shows no class. He should fix Impluse from crashing in Windows 7 64 upon closeing since he cares so much about the POS.

I had to use it to redownload OD+ after a reinstall.

I have Impulse on two installs of Win 7 Ultimate 64bit...one in a host....the other in VMWare.  Neither crash exiting [or any other time].  It [Impulse] is also on Win XP Pro 32 bit ....Vista Ultimate 32bit, likewise with no issue.

I would suggest you have a system-specific issue [that is - specific to YOUR system - something conflicting with normal function and thus not directly an Impulse problem].

On 7 home premium x64 never a peep. Works just fine. Randall30, you might consider turning to support for help with your issue...

Running Impulse on WinXP 32-bit and Win7 64-bit; no issues on either.  If its crashing for you, post to the Support forum; lots of helpful people there.

Frogboy can tell me to piss off any time he likes, I don't mind. If it hadn't been for him I'd have given up on Stardock a long time ago. As a company, Stardock doesn't really impress me much, but the colorful personalities of the people working there does (same goes for the supporters roaming these forums, but that's kind of off-topic here. :) ).

I would suggest opening a support ticket so it can be looked at.  I have been running Impulse on Win7 x64 since pre-beta and never had an issue.

yep, running it here on win 7 x64 as well, no issues

Actually this is the only person at Stardock who shouldn't suggest anyone (customer to be or current customer) to "piss off". Anyway, customer relations aren't really Stardocks strength.

I respectfully disagree.

Stardock Support and Sales, as well as the Admins, have always extended themselves to help me....even from half the world away.

If you had a problem with someone there I'd suggest you use the gripe line while remembering it usually takes two people interacting to create a problem...

This is a really good https://store.stardock.com/contacts.aspx for all sorts of stuff at Stardock.

I have to agree with DrJbHL the Sales and Support Staff at Stardock have always been helpful when I have had any sort of problems and with only one exception they were always cleared up within a couple days and that one occasion was my fault because I didn't respond with the information requested by support for 3 days. The Admins and the users of these forums are also of great help if you just take the time to answer the questions asked of you, some times you can fix your problem without a support ticket.

I have come to care a good deal about the Community here...and that includes the folks I was very leery about in the beginning. Now there isn't a one of them I wouldn't feel privileged to have in my home as a guest....and as family. If you are polite and give the respect you desire, it will be reciprocated. I promise.

Support and service is at good enough level, with great people who do their job just fine. The only exception is when I sent a mail to [email protected] and got a reply from [email protected] stating that I couldn't get help because [email protected] is for technical support... Guess someone woke up in the wrong department or something. :D

I don't really care if impluse crashes I just needed it once cause the cd I have OD+ is lost the time being. Strange thing downloading and installing OD+ from Impluse did't require me to copy and paste the serial. It just installed then I reloaded my dock. I am missing stack dock so I need to google that. Maybe that could be put into OD+ 2.0
