Good Old Games, or GOG, closed its doors. I bought many games from them and will miss their presence.
I think GoG did something stupid ....
I still have no idea what they did, but it was probably just some idiotic prank.
You know all they are doing is selling abandoware.
Just do a search for the game you want and you can find it for free!
Everything GOG sells is under contract from the rights-holders, just like any other legitimate DD store. There's no excuse for pirating it under claim of "abandonware".
Not all the games are abandonware, such as Age of Wonders; therefore free versions of some games availible through GOG may not be legal.
