Hypocritical Download

Demigod won't finish until the second coming

I bought Demigod when that super-sale was going on for $6, and tried to download. Impulse said my download speed was 220KBps, but it took three days to download a single MB. I restarted the download several times after that. About a week later it only took me 3 hours to download a MB. I figured that perhaps the servers were thrashed from everyone trying to download, and I'd just wait until things smoothed over.

Well, it's been a while, and I still can't get more than a MB every two hours. My download rate appears to be between 160 KBps and 320 KBps, but it seems more like 5 KBps.

I didn't have this problem downloading any of the GalCiv2 stuff, which I downloaded at about the same time without any such trouble.

I have been having the same issue with Demigod for weeks now. I tried installing it several times, and can never get a decent speed. It says it's downloading at around 350k, less than half of my download speed, but it downloads about a kilobyte every minute.

I was thinking it was just me. Haven't tested downloading other programs yet, will do shortly... Using Avast!, Windows Firewall, Win 7 x64bit.
