performance issue?

after running a huge sector with multiple stars, getting in late game i get a weird performance issue.

the game freezes up alltogether and in steps it slowly starts up again. the time between the steps decreases with each step, i don't have this on Soase:trinity

maybe it's because of every player getting huge fleets or something, but i thought i'd report it anyway since i don't have this on Trinity.

Setup:

intel core i7 2.93GhZ

4gb RAM DDR3

Nvidia gtx560OC

Windows 7, 64bit

keep up the good job guys, i love the loyalist and rebel ideas, and i love the titans. maybe a bit high priced for alot of the same + a little extra, but i support you and i'm a die hard fan, so no matter haha.
