ObjectDock strain on CPU? & losing icons to running programs

I am using ObjectDoc Pro with Win64. i7CPU

I notice from time to time I get a "blue screen of death" and a CPU overheat warning on re-start up. (82degC!) This occurs after I cannot find running programs icons on the Objectdoc bar and they do not show up in task manager.  This is at times when I am usually running low demand programs although usually Firefox is involved and will not start as "there is another running instance of Firefox" (the icon of which I cannot find to close this running instance)

What I want to know is (1) How this problem can be prevented from re-occuring. (2) Does Objectdoc put increased strain on the CPU resources and by how much?

1.  Likely you need to clean your machine...and/or check CPU cooler seating.

2.  Next to no impact at all.  Static shows Zero CPU load....rapid flicking over the zoomer dock may see around 10% but that's not its function.  Ram  is about 22meg on a macine that was last rebooted 15 days and 7 hours ago.

ObjectDock doesn't do anything that would sustain a high CPU load for long enough to overheat it like that.  Momentary spikes every now and again, sure, but in order to put a load on a i7 that would cause that kind of an issue, and have it only be software that is the cause, there would need to be something else putting a sustained load on the CPU.  The only other options I can think of would be hardware issues, specifically a poorly seated heatsink, not enough, too much, or unevenly applied thermal paste, poor air flow, or a failing CPU.
