As the title says, it seems as if it is not possible to hide the "Recorded TV" entyr from the starth menu.

There is a bug in the current beta that links this to the downloads link visibility.
This is resolved for the next beta.
Still not resolved in beta3.... really annoying >.< but I understand you guys have a lot of updates in the works

Edit: Just read this in the changelog: "Fix for issues with some of the right hand links not showing / hiding based on the config settings" but it didn't seem to fix it in my case. Does this mean i should uninstall it completely and wipe the configuration? Or has this "Downloads"+"Recorded TV" bug not been fixed yet?
This issue is resolved in the beta update, so it sounds like your install has not been updated correctly.
An easy way to tell if you have the new build is to type www. in the search box. If it shows an Internet result at the top of the search results then you have the latest build. If so try turning the Recorded TV link on and off again.
