Would love a "Recent Items" menu option

You know, like the good ol' Windows 7 one (I think Vista/XP had it, too)

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see an option to enable the "Recent Items" menu like the good ol' Windows 7 taskbar had. If it's there, please educate me. If not, it'd be a great feature to consider for a future release. Thanks.

Edit -> By the way, I don't mean recent applications. I mean the "Recent Items" menu that showed the last-accessed documents.
