Always War Option

They should add that feature where there IS no diplomacy. Everyone is at war with everyone else the moment they come in contact with one another.

Civ IV had that, but it was only between human and AI. Would like an Always War of everyone against everyone.

In the meantime: starting new game Immense/Suicidal/Abundant/Abundant/Custom Race/Thalan Tech... but with a twist:

1. All the enemies are Yor Clones (8 or 9 of them)

2. I'm not allowed to get Universal Translator.

3. I start with 3 techs at the beginning of the game (two engines and Hives).

That way I can expand to my heart's content... except that since there's 8 AIs that I cannot talk to they're still going to out-expand me anyways.

This should be possible via a mod, I would think. I'd be somewhat surprised if there isn't a trigger to atuodeclare war in the defs somewhere. Just make it so when the first contact trigger occurs, war is declared via a trigger as well. This has the added bonuses of AI on AI warfare as well. Playing with triggers is something of an advanced option when it comes to modding, I admit. But it should be possible. Then just replace Universal Translator with something else so peace can never be negotiated.

Triggers might not even be necessary if the right options can be found in the XMLs. After all, the campaigns start with war already declared at Turn One, so it must be set that way somehow.
