I was looking into DasUndying's topic about the guy. Watched the replay and did some calculations. Dude used about 490 quanta by 10 minute mark and in skirmish I did my best to rush quanta and got only about 400. Seemed suspicious but thought I could be missing something - extra 100 quanta is probably possible.
Now 8 500 quanta is a whole different story  

Knigge cheated as well in a very obvious way in ranked games.

I have two other guys but I dont have a record of this. I will report them if I have a record.

I played last night, and endeavored to check the graphs this time.

One match in particular worthy of note, I think... assuming I am correct that the graphs at the end of the match show metal and radioactive accumulation rates (vs. what's in storage).

In the match in question, I took several metal nodes before the opponent (ranked 8) even took his third node.

I had maybe 4-5 metal nodes, and most were multi-mine nodes.

The opponent had maybe 2 metal nodes.

And I am pretty sure I had constructed mines for at least several of my metal nodes. 

And yet, SOMEHOW.... the graph at the end of the game showed my opponent producing more metal than me, starting just a few minutes into the game.

Simply. Doesn't. Seem. Plausible.

Not that early. 

And yes, I was dominated. Multiple dread bays, and multiple dreads, while I barely had time and resources to build my second armory. 

Would be so great to have those replays, so that I could see what happened for real.

There is no way to be sure otherwise. 

This post and another one both point out DiDimao as cheating and if you look at his recent matches he is no longer playing ranked. I want to know if he was banned from that or if the hack was fixed? Because he plays custom, I'm in a lobby with him now in fact, and I want to know if he can still cheat. So did you ban him from ranked so he can't cheat in the more "important" multiplayer or have you actually fixed the cheating which then turned him off ranked. If you just pushed the cheating into custom that would not be cool. Either way I would like to know, thanks.

curious to know what stardock will do about this, ashes doesn't have the most live mp as it is..and for cheaters to pop up..that's just going to sway more people.

I'm actually 90% sure that this is some sort of bug. 

I'm a new player (bought this game 1 week ago) and I managed to drop down 20 engineers and ended up with something stupid like.. negative 800 quanta. The reason this happened was because I was trying to drop the engineers in a small block on the map where fog of war was pretty thick - I kept mashing the drop engineer button because it kept failing - then somehow it dropped like 20... I couldnt' invest quanta in anything else for the entire game because I had negative 900 - I was stuck at 200 supply - kind of sucked.

Either way - already "Master" on this game. Despite better than anticipated search times per game (4 minutes wasn't too bad), literally nobody plays this  

I know didi was cheating, that isn't something up for discussion. He was, we talked about it together. 

But after being in the top 10, some players coming here and just accusing people because they got their asses kicked.

I've smashed people and been called a cheater.. like fuck do I cheat.


Some guy was like how do you have 500 power to my 80, i'm like.. dude it's a surveillance drone.. 

Yeah, the power thing confuses new players. Build a few air units and power shoots up too. The opening move of grabbing two nodes quickly also upsets newer players too as they don't see how it can be done. These are reasons why we really need replays, so newer players can see how it is done and improve quickly without getting put off and discouraged, and also to dispel the idea that a good player is cheating.
