Hey guys this is getting a bit ridiculous. It's July and you mentioned the Ashes sequel in January while saying that more info would be coming soon.
I paid close to 100 bucks for the Ashes founder's edition and still think I didn't really get enough for that money. It's a cool game, it really is, and it's good I supported you. That's what I wanted.
The problem is, I still really want a real SupCom successor! This is what you enticed in January and you keep us all hanging in the air. Chris Taylor did it, too. About two or three years ago he said he would do a new RTS but nothing was heard of that anymore. Could you just please do it?! SupCom done with today's tools and abilities. Maybe with some R&D elements mixed, like in Sins, with one or two more factions and more units, more experimentals and better unit design aesthetics. The only two things SupCom 2 did good was
1st giving each faction a real design theme. (Nearly) All cybrans were walking things, all aeons hovering things, all coalition tracked things. The bad thing was, everything looked a bit like out of a babies' toys market.
2nd introducing a research/development tree.
Now, go ahead and do it and first hurry up and give us some information on what you have in mind when talking about an Ashes sequel!
