Truly a sad event. Absolutely loved The Golden Girls. She was brilliant, and will be missed.

I just read about her passing a few moments ago.  I was so hoping that she would crack the 100 and have the party of a lifetime.  Sadly, Betty White passed away just 3 weeks shy of that and will be very much missed, not only in Hollywood and the US but right around the world, including here in Australia, where she was as popular as some of our own stars.

RIP Betty White, you left your mark on the world and will never be forgotten.
