No....'practice' is the noun....'practise' is the verb....though I'm sure the Americans will have diluted the distinction once they grew bored with that extra 'I' in Aluminium that they hate so much....Spell checker

I like it with the i. Makes it easier for me to spell. It's aluminium in French as well.
