How do you add images?

I have Deskscapes running, but I can't add images to the list.  (There are some there already.)

How do you add images to the list so it will include them in the random list of images?

I have images in the Pictures folder, but some of the images (jpd/png) don't show up.  Previous ones do.

Open DeskScapes, go to lower left, hit settings, then settings again  see pic.

That button only allows you to add folders, not individual files.  I have it pointed to my Pictures folder already.  It is not recognizing new images I put in there.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system

  1. Windows 7,8,10 or 11? And its version numbers.
  2. Deskscape version.
  3. In the playlist editor have you try the "Add background" button? Assuming you're having Deskscape 11 refer screenshot below.

For DS10 please play around with these options. Un-select those "Only show xxxx" part might help.

That did not help.  New images still do not show up.

Any specific reason only some files not showing up? Try moving it into another directory and add that directory.

Adding them to a new folder did not help.

Can you link a pic that you know works and I will add it to my folders and see if Stardock recognizes it?

First, try download some stills from DS10 online gallery. Does the downloaded wallpaper appear?

Try this : https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/wallpapers/52061/ This one, I do a manual download direct from Wincustomize.com. Save under a folder. Added it to Deskscape list via "Manage folder.

Still doesn't on mine.  Strange.  Maybe I should d/l the beta.  But then, are they going to charge us for it when it is out of beta?

If you referring to Deskscape V11, and you don't have active subscription for Object Desktop, you will need to pay for its license key.

Maybe try over, Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
