start menu on Microsoft surface

Hi, having issues with Start11 on a Surface Pro 3 using Windows 11, hoping someone can help. Only happens when using the touch screen with finger presses. using a mouse, everything works perfectly.

- when pressing the centred start button, sometimes the original win 11 menu appears randomly, does not do this when on the left side of screen.

- Long pressing on the taskbar only brings up Taskbar settings for windows, none of the extended options such as Task Manager appear, yet right clicking with a mouse works.

Surface is in PC mode, not Tablet mode(win11 does not offer tablet mode anymore)

Have tried upgraded and fresh installs of win 11, same issues.

Full numbered version of Win11 ? ( use winver.exe for that )

Version of Startt11 ?

Hi.

Windows 11 Pro version is 21H2(os build 22000.527)

Start11 is on version 1.11

 

Also discovered that having the Start button on the left also sometimes randomly brings up the win11 orig start menu.
