Whats up with this??

yes there are some really ignorant comments, though simple, but what can you expect from simple minds...

I think/feel that it should be presented in BOLD type that commenting and rating is a privildge and not a given right so that people udnerstand that if they make a game out of it then it can and will be taken away without pause.

from what I can understand of the foreign comments, most of them appear positive... but it just looks like they didn't rate too highly. A pity about the rest though.
It's certainly different, and at least an original... not a clone of someone else's skin.

The comments are pretty pointless...but not specifically 'offensive'.

Needless to say, a comment's true value stems from its origin, not merely its content.

In this case, perhaps it's a matter of empty vessels making the most sound.

No-one 'should' be discouraged by comments of little substance and import....

Thanks, Morph.......My comment was not and is not intended to be critical or offensive, just that i have spent a lot of my youth travelling around Bavaria and its one of my favourite places. As i say this skin is....Very.....Bavarian

As most of you are fairly new, some of these types of comments might appear really bad. Venture into the past and see some skins that were put up about a year ago and you will find what bad is.A lot of them were removed as there were to mush swearing and tasteless things in them. But some of the less tasteless comments still remain and are far worse than UGLY.

WOM....that's just another utterance from the brain-dead.....not worthy of the effort of removal....

We do remove comments....but they are usually somewhat more extreme than 'this is bullshit'.

Their removal has often been accompanied by the poster's removal....just to keep them company...

Normally, if someone has an issue with a comment on their own work/s and contacts an admin it'll be removed for them....

I think everybody has their own vision of what beauty is...and the fact that someone took the time and effort to make a skin...even if it isn't in the taste of everyone... deserves respect and the fact that it's offered here for download shows that there's a good heart in there to what's to judge?

Yes WOM, that was uncalled for but as I am still relatively new here, I didn't see that post, and if I did I would do the same thing, bring it to everyones attention. Nothing wrong with that skin, looked excellent to me Jafo you are right, these comments shouldn't be taken to heart. Wasn't even my work, but I have to agree with IP sometimes it's hard to ignore
