Does anybody like cars here?

What kind of cars do you like? (That includes trucks too if you want)

My personal dream cars are:
Chrysler 300M (or the Concorde)

I might actually get that ^^^ one in a few years.

Other dream cars include:
Volvo XC90
Nissan Z
Cadilac Escalade (SUT pick-up)
Infinity FX45
Aston Martin DB8 (or the Vanquish)

I am also thinking about getting some toy cars. One of them is this one:

What do you want...????

My dream car - Ferrari F1 (Formula)

Personally I like bikes better than cars.. Imagine a highway.. empty highway.. and you with your own personal Harley-Davidson (or any bike else, excepting Yamaha )

The car I have:
1986 VW Golf 1.6 GTD, 84 BHP - drives 20-23 KM/L (thats why I keep it)

The car I want:
1974 Volvo 144 GL, M20 engine 100 BHP - drives around 8-9 KM/L...... if you're lucky..... on a good day..... with the sun in your back.... and a full bladder..... BUT I WANT ONE, NAMMIT!!!

well the only real cars are made by Dodge. Anything else is a waste of money and material.

If you are American, buying a forign car is like spitting in the face of your local American car makers.

Long Live the dodge Ram, truck of the year.

I 'turned' my back on American auto makers back when I read multiple stories on how they couldn't care less about the customer, new technologies and making cheaper better cars UNTIL there was competition.

So now I get the car that serves me best.

By the way, Chrysler and Dodge are the same thing... along with Mercedes-Benz.

Its the same company.

I want a 67 mustang fastback, with a 427
or a 1984 grand wagoneer, dark blue, with all the fixins (it even has a cd player I think)
or a 87 cj7
or a 325 bmw
But for now I'll stick with my 87 cherokee pioneer
It hasn't quit yet and I prefer inline engines. (200,000 miles and it runs better than most cars with 100,000)

1973 Toyota Corona Deluxe 4-door sedan; some ugly avocado green color exterior with excess rust and bondo, 2.4-litre, 3-speed automatic (on the column), rear-wheel drive, manual choke, black vinyl and duct tape front and rear bench seats, am/fm radio, dual dashboard ashtrays, 108,000 miles My first car. It always started no matter how cold it was (manual choke ). Never got stuck in the snow (spun out on the ice once though) and took it off-roading (nothing too treacherous).

Ford dosen't count as American. Only GM and Crystler.

My Station Wagon, a Ford Fairmount (I do not drive a Ford BY CHOICE) has a 200 cubic inch inline 6 with 220,000 miles on it and it has never been rebuilt. Gets around 18 to 23 miles to the gallon, and most of all the parts on it are still original. this is my first car, from my mom.

Could be wrong, but I don't think that there are any "100% American" cars (not specialty or kit-cars) being made today that are designed in the USA, built with parts made in the USA, and assembled in the USA.

but my whole point is if you buy a forign car, you make a forign guy rich. In this time of recession, shouldn't we buy American?

Or do you want to be the one who explains to the Ford factory worker why sales are down and why he just got laid off?

I own a 2003 Ford F-150 and 2003 Jeep Liberty.

In the past, I've also bought new two Ford Taurus's, Ford Ranger, Ford Aspire (POS), Chevy Corsica (POS), Isuzu Trooper, Nissan Sentra, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Tercel, Mazda MX3, two Honda Civics, Kia Sportage (POS). Point is, people are going to buy and drive what is within their budget and what fits their needs at the time they need to get another car. If American Automobile makers don't meet that need.....look what happen in the 70's

And the Ford Focus is not afordable? under 10k!

If it was up to me I would ban all forign cars. Then nuke a few forign car factoies just for the hell of it.

Ah well...so much for the international economy, competition, the value of the American Dollar, etc. Guess all the stuff that we export to other countries can sit on our docks and rot

Yep. so be it.

and then we built big walls at all of our borders. No one gets in.

Oh i forgot to add... why do we need competition? We have the best and we are the best. Best minds in the world are in the US.

But seriously I am a dodge nut.
