Unwanted changes to the menu view in folders and programs.

How to prevent WindowBlinds themes from changing menu fonts in folders and programs?

[email protected]

Good day!

First of all, thanks for the amazing products!!!

We only have one question.

Stardock WindowBlinds themes change icon fonts, as well as they change menu fonts in programs and folders. We do not know how to return the species that we so diligently created.

In the settings, I select "Do not apply any style system wide fonts." I apply. But in the menu of folders and programs, I see that the distance between the menu items has become larger than it was. How do I ban these changes? I really like topics, but this nuance spoils everything. Is it possible that the themes for WindowBlinds absolutely did not change the fonts and the appearance of the menu in programs and folders? I will be glad to any advice!

Happy days,

Stefano

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe it is best if you can post several screenshot showing us which area you're having issue with. So we can advice accordingly on how to change the theme in skinstudio.

Thanks

We are glad to receive an answer!!! Here's the difference. You can see how the list is getting higher. Probably the vertical interval between the menu lines has become longer. It doesn't seem to be a big difference, but it makes a big difference to perception in work. Ideal if the settings had the ability to disable any interference with fonts and menu views. Please, if possible, it will be an absolutely priceless product. Win10 has a terrible appearance. WindowBlinds is a real miracle! Now we can return to the pleasant look of Aero!..

I forgot to say! By default, if I hover over a menu item, it is highlighted in blue. The screenshot shows this. This is a very valuable element for perception and work. Themes turn it off. If possible, let it stay.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Each WB theme come with own setting and graphics for those menu design. There is no option to disable only specific area in WB. In your case to disable just the menu, you will need to use Skinstudios to change the skin to what ever your wish. If you wish to do that, here is a good tutorial guide on how to use Skinstudio: https://forums.wincustomize.com/447931/SkinStudio-Tutorial-by-Vampothika.

A simpler solution is to ask Windowblinds to ignore specific application from being skin. Refer below. This will make that specific application will not be skin at all, so you should have the menu area untouch by Windowblinds.
