Access Denied when clicking MyDocuments button displayed as menu

Hi,

Just installed v2.0. Beta 1. Everything went pretty smooth and I like it. 2 issues found so far:

  • If I select the option to display the MyDocuments link as a menu, when I click it I get a "Access Denied" button. See screenshot at https://app.screencast.com/fjFicPK1jIX6N?tab=Details&conversation=5t3hAuq9hpdSpBwraKHA5d. I can replicate the issue with other folders
  • When I searched for a program with the Windows Search bar, right-click the icon and choose "Pin to Start menu (Start 11)", it always ends up under a group (the first group I created), even if it is not open. (Not a big deal).

Your first issue is resolved in the 2.0.0.1 beta update which is available in your store downloads.

When it comes to pinning items, if no option is given for the location it has to pick a group which will normally be the very first group on the first page.  That said we are looking to extend the options on the Start11 search to offer the submenu we offer on the all apps list where you can pick the group you want.

I downloaded the software this AM and it does say v.2.0 beta 1. Would you kindly point me to where I should go to download a more recent version? When in the app, if I click "Check now" it says I am up-to-date.

Regarding the second issue. I have icons without groups at the top and items below group and subgroups under a tab. IMHO it should go at the top. In my case it goes to a subgroup of the first group. I originally thought it wasn't working because that group was not the active one.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, if you go to your product account page do you see it listed there? https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products something like the screenshot below. Also if you click "Check now..." it won't notice it since its an beta update.

Thanks

No, I don't see it. Probably because I haven't bought yet. Can't you provide a direct download link?

Actually no, he can't. There is no download link without purchase. Only after purchase will it appear among your available software.

I would expect the update to make its way to trial users in the next week.  It was just put up for paying customers first as never mess with the trial on a Friday :)
