help!

hey - can anyone help me?? when trying to open any of the pages on the wincustomise site, it seems to take forever then redirects me to the incredifind homepage. i can't get access to any pages on this site. any ideas?? [email protected] for any suggestions. Cheers! M.

Hello. It sounds like you have gotten a browser hijacker (though I don''t know why it would only happen here). Try running your adaware program, and also run Hijack this .. http://s89223352.onlinehome.us/mirror/hjt/ The information on that page will help you use it.

You can use a program like http://www.winpatrol.com/ to help you manage cookies, and to warn you when something new has been added to your startup menu. And if you don''t have a spyware program, you might like AdAware... http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ . Both programs have free versions.

I got hit with IDG Search hijacker. HijackThis fixed though...Look at Mozilla or Opera once you get your system cleaned. Hijackers exploit flaws in IE. Listen to goodmorphing, and also try running Spybot Search and Destroy, also free and paired with AdAware 6 should root out any nasty little spyware!
